Does your new packaging want to make it onto the shelf, but first needs to convince marketing, be validated on the production line, impress at the trade fair, and—if necessary—win over the large-scale retailer buyer? Manufacturing professional mock-ups is the winning card: physical samples that look like production parts, ready to be touched, evaluated, and photographed.

AT PROTOSPAIN

You can finally see and handle your design in record time:

Do you want the packaging to feel like the final product? Here, every detail matters: click-clack closures that sound premium, optical transparencies, printed labels, and custom inks. We use SLA 3D printing for ultra-high-definition prototypes and vacuum casting in PU to simulate injection-molded plastics with a flawless finish.

  • Mock-ups for visual validation, handling tests, line testing, and commercial launches.

  • Manufacturing using translucent resins, flexible or rigid plastics, including textures and full-color details.

  • Series ranging from a single sample to batches of dozens for focus groups, presentations, or pre-industrial pilots.

And for short series?

  • Vacuum casting or rapid molding: up to 50 units in simulated materials (ABS, PP, PE, etc.).

  • Mock-ups painted according to RAL color charts, with the option of adding texturing, screen printing, or labeling directly in-house.

  • Direct validation on packaging lines, risk-free: fit checks, strength testing, functionality, and ergonomics before the main production run.

Prototypes for the food industry

Components for Food Machinery:

Robustness and Reliability in Every Part

The food industry allows no room for fantasy or error margins: components must withstand cycles, cleaning processes, and of course comply with food-contact regulations, whether in stainless steel or certified technical plastics.

At ProtoSpain, prototype manufacturing for food-processing machinery speaks the language of the production line:

  • Precision CNC machining: 304/316 stainless steels, technical plastics such as POM, PA, PTFE, adapted for machinery parts, tooling, guides, and components for assembly and functional validation.

  • SLS 3D printing for functional parts in polyamide or TPU, offering real mechanical strength and flexibility, ideal for supports, nozzles, seals, and food-contact flow components.

  • Laser cutting and bending of stainless steel or aluminum sheet for brackets, panels, covers, and structural parts.

Real validations?
We produce everything from single parts to batches of 100 units, documenting tolerances, surface finishes, and any required food-contact certifications to approve the design before moving to series production. Polished, bead-blasted, or anodized finishes can be specified according to technical requirements or final aesthetics.

The result is clear: functional testing with parts that look like production, direct iteration on prototypes, and agile delivery to keep projects moving. And if you need to review every last millimeter, we also provide dimensional inspection reports and technical consulting on regulations and food-contact compatibility.

Do you want prototypes that inspire confidence before investing in final tooling?

Contact ProtoSpain and take your food-industry designs to the next level: mock-ups that sell and components that work. Request your online quotation or a personalized technical consultation and discover how easy it is to accelerate product development without sacrificing detail or reliability.
